Earl Gordon Stringer Jr., 74, born June 25, 1937, died February, 2013.
He was born in Rhode Island and was a resident of Atlanta, GA. He served in the United States Navy. He worked as an interior designer traveling extensively across the country from Maine to Florida to California to Texas and all over the South to design and stage homes. His clients would say there was real time and then there was “Gordon time” as he worked at his own creative pace and never owned a watch. He was truly a creative and free spirit.
Survivors include three sisters, Carolyn Stringer (Ted) VanIderstine, Charlotte (Les) Matson, West Bend, Dorothy (Steven) Anderson, Deerfield, NH; many friends and loved ones.
A memorial and remembrance service will be Feb. 27, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Paris On Ponce located at 716 Ponce De Leon Place, Atlanta, GA. For more information call 404-249-9965.
