Cecil Alvin McKinley, 86, of Thomasville died March 20, 2013 at Thomasville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 18, 1927 in Clarke County. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. He was a World War II Veteran. He was a former sheet metal worker at Craig Airforce Base.

Survivors include three sons, Gary A. McKinley, Mobile, Terry E. McKinley, Perry A. McKinley,  both of Fulton; one brother, Aaron T. McKinley, Creola; two sisters, Eunice Drinkard, Thomasville, Bertha Snyder, Panama City, FL; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

The service was March 22 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Darden officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery  in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Terry McKinley, Steven McKinley, Perry McKinley, Trey McKinley, Brett McKinley and Gary McLeod.

Honorary pallbearers were Gary McKinley, Aaron McKinley, Jack McHaney, Kenny Logan and Glenn Snyder.
