Margaret Elva McManus, 92, of Surginer died March 22, 2013 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 25, 1921 in Princeton, IN. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby (Barbara) McManus, Surginer, Phillip (Verna) Mc- Manus, Radcliff, KY; one daughter, Joanne McManus (Emmett) Alexander, Pine Hill; one sister, Evadine Etheredge, Surginer; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Mc- Manus, a daughter, Carolyn Moore, grandson, Scott Moore and a granddaughter, Jan Alexander.
The service was March 24 at 2 p.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Gandy officiating. Burial was in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Joey McManus, Todd McManus, Audie Alexander, Dan Sweeney, Chris McManus, Lars McManus, Doug Moore, D’wayne Moore, and Clyde Ray Pearson.
Honorary pallbearers were Lynn Pearson and Sandy Sweeney.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or the Ronald McDonald House.
