Claudy N. Harrison Jr., 83, of Grove Hill died May 3, 2013.
He was born Dec. 30, 1929 to Claudy N. Harrison Sr. and Ida Harrison. He was on the Clarke-Washington Electric Membership Corporation’s Board of Directors for 29 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Coffeeville and served as fire chief in Coffeeville for 35 years. He owned an Automotive Body and Paint Shop and Wrecker Service and was former owner of Harrison’s BP Station in Coffeeville.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Earline Harrison, Coffeeville; sister-inlaw, Rose Robinson, Mobile.
A graveside service was May 6 at 11 a.m. at the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffeeville with Rev. William Allison officiating.
Active pallbearers were Michael Harrison, Douglas Harrison, Earl Harrison, Jim Fore, Frankie Crawford and Stanley Dunagan.
The members of his Mason Lodge served as Honorary Pallbearers.
