Curtis Earl Stephens, 75, of Grove Hill died May 6, 2013 at his son’s home in Grove Hill.
He was born July 28, 1937 in Okalona. He was a member of the Oaklona Methodist Protestant Bible Church. He was a former carpenter.
Survivors include two sons, Mickey (Judy) Stephens, Mack (Cindy) Stephens, all of Grove Hill; one daughter, Susie (Eddie) Knight, Grove Hill; one brother, Bill Stephens, Grove Hill; one sister, Josie Callaway, Grove Hill; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Stephens.
The service was May 8 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Ronnie Giles, James “Skippy” Gates and Curtis Lee Stephens officiating. Burial was in the Henley Cemetery in Fulton.
Active pallbearers were Perry Callaway, Dale Stephens, Craig Stephens, Scott Newton, Clay Hudson and Josh McKinley.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Wiggins, Harold Smith, Eudell Dunagan, Elge Goodman, Carl Smith and Charles “Buddy” Wells.
