Charles Van Daniels, 51, of Nanafalia died May 17, 2013 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 21, 1962 in Camden. He was a member of the Nanafalia Baptist Church and the Farm Agriculture. He was a pipe fitter with Burkes Mechanical Company.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Holloway Daniels, Nanafalia; two sons, Sawyer Van Daniels, Logan Charles Daniels, both of Thomasville; his mother, Shirley Daniels, Nanafalia; two brothers, Craig (Collen) Daniels, Thomasville, Danny Daniels, Nanafalia; two sisters, Lisa Diamond, Meridian, MS., Debbie (Rick) Nichols, Tuscaloosa; his mother-in-law, Mildred Holloway, Selma; a host of nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Daniels, and a niece, Mandy Daniels.

The service was May 21 at 2 p.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Gavin officiating. Burial was in the Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water.

Active pallbearers were Brian Martin, Joey Mathers, Jimmy Daniels, Calvin Anderson, Ray Smith, Velpo Waldrope, Marcus Walters and Buddy Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers were Joey Tourne and members of the Farm Agriculture.
