Willie David Mobley, 56, of Mobile died July 25, 2013 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 23, 1956 in Jackson. Mobley was a graduate of Auburn University and was employed at the Sears Warehouse in Mobile.
Survivors include his mother, Mother Pearlie K. Chapman, Leroy; five brothers, Lewis Ridgeway Jr., Sherman Ridgeway, both of Leroy, Jimmie Ivory, Mobile, Louis (Xamaira) Koin, Crestview, Fla., Alphonza ( Joanna) Koins, Danville; three sisters, Carolyn Hamby, Los Angeles, Calif., Lela (Clifford) Johnson, Winn, Oletha (Sabino) Jordan, Leroy; one uncle, Isaiah (Annie Pearl) Savage, Dothan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his adopted mother, Bessie Mobley Pace and his father, Dave Ivory.
The service was Aug. 3 at 11 a.m., at the Grace Temple Apostolic Church in Leroy. Elder Beverly Turner, pastor and Rev. Robert Collins was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Prestwick.
