Charles William Freeman, 85, of Nicholsville died Aug. 7, 2013 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 23, 1928 in Nicholsville. He was a member of the Sweet Water Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veterans and a member of the American Legion Post 84 in Wellsboro, PA. he was a retired electrical inspector.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Black Freeman, Nicholsville; two sons, Butch (Cathy) Black, Andy (Tisha) Black, all of Nicholsville; three daughters, Susan Freeman (Frank) Yungwirth, Covington, PA, Debbie (Bruce) Sims, Pine Hill, Nina (Steve) Lynn, Sweet Water; one sister, Betty Jean (Bill) Black, Nicholsville; 11 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Morrison and Billy Morrison; parents, Davie William Freeman and Lucy Etheredge Freeman and two sisters, Sadie Poellnitz and Mary Boudreaux Bates.
The service was Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial was in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Nicholsville.
Active pallbearers were Ralph Bates, Billy Bates, Reagan Bates, Steve Lorio, Jeff Reed and Tommy Black.
