Windle Ray “Bob” Gibson, 82, of Jackson died Sept. 9, 2013 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 14, 1931. He was a native of Guntersville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former deacon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired electrician with Brown and Root and was a former Co-owner/operator of Frankie’s Bakeshop for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie M. Gibson, Jackson; one son, Donald Gibson, Jackson; one daughter, Sissie (Rick) Grant, Jackson; four grandchildren, Heather (Will) Richardson, Ross (Brittany) Henderson, Thomas Gibson and Stephen Gibson; greatgranddaughter, Harper Henderson.
He was preceded in death by parents, Greely and Ella Gibson and two brothers.
The service was Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home. Burial was at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.

Active pallbearers were Ross Henderson, Thomas Gibson, Stephen Gibson, Will Richardson, Wayne Harrison and Timbo Harrison.
