David Washington Glover, 61, of Sweet Water died Sept. 6, 2013 at the V.A. Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born Sept. 10, 1951 in Sweet Water. He was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Andrews Glover, Sweet Water; one daughter, Debra Nicole Glover, Tuscaloosa; three sons, Shawn Dillon Glover, Sweet Water, Charlie Daniel Glover, Livingston, Joshua David Glover, Tuscaloosa; one brother, Bo Glover, Melvin; five sisters, Joan Strickland, Myrtlewood, Joyce Pritchett, Sweet Water, Sallie Jones, Dixons Mills, Pauline Tyson, Butler, Olene Vice, Nanafalia; two grandchildren.
The service with military honors was Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. at Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Sweet Water with Revs. Thomas Anderson and Chuck Hand officiating.
Active pallbearers were Whit Daniels, Chuck Pritchett, Steve Cochran, Steve Shumate, James Steel and Randy Harris.
Honorary pallbearers were Drew Robinson, Adam Sheffield, and Jarett Mathers.
