Stephine Naomi Bracy, 46, of the Winn community in Jackson died Sept. 14, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. She was born to the parentage of the late Lynell Chapman and Mary Williams Chapman on Oct. 8, 1966. She was a graduate of Coffeeville High School in the Class of 1984. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Winn where she served faithfully on the Usher Board. She was employed at Jackson Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant. She attended and completed mortuary science at Bishop State Community College in Mobile, and was attending Alabama Southern Community College in Thomasville.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Leon Bracy Sr.; one son, Walter Leon Bracy Jr.; daughter, Brianna Bracy; her loving mother, Mary Williams Chapman, all of Winn; two brothers, Auther (Forestine) Chapman, Fredericksburg, Va., Angelo Wynell Chapman, Baton Rouge, La.; three sisters, Janice (James) Franklin, Daphne, Gwendolyn (Stanley) Campbell, Puyallup, Wash., Yolanda (Thomas) Winbush, Meansville, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The service was Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at Jackson High School Auditorium. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Rev. Donald Sterling, pastor, officiated.
