Goldie Faye McKinley, 79, of Thomasville died Sept. 21, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Silver Hill.

She was born April 12, 1934 in Decatur. She was a member of the Thomasville Church of God. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, James M. McKinley, Thomasville; six daughters, Judy Honea, Theodore, Shelia (Jeff) Spurlin, St. Augustine, FL, Kathy (Ron) Bankston, Silverhill, Janet (Rudy) Mora, Dothan, Liz (Glenn) Farner, West Salem, Ohio, Felicia Richardson, Mobile; one step-son, James A. McKinley, Mobile; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry James McKinley.

The service Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. at Thomasville Church of God with Revs. Troy West, Raymond Williams and Josh Gill officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Hank Spurlin, Lucas Spurlin, John Luke Spurlin, Jimi Honea, Shawn Mural and Beau Bonds.

Honorary pallbearers were James McKinley Jr., Josh McKinley and J.D. Stronko.
