Tropical Storm Karen coming
Tropical Storm Karen was officially named this morning. The storm has winds of 65 mph and could make landfall anywhere from the Mississippi coast to the Florida panhandle late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
A cold front may weaken the storm and cause it to veer off more to the east.
The storm system is moving quickly. It should be a big rainmaker will some wind.
It doesn't appear to be a severe as some storms we have but you can never take a tropical storm or a hurricane for granted.
The map is from the National Hurrican Center as of 4 p.m.
