Rose Mary Hudson, 67, of Mobile died Oct. 13, 1913.
She was born Feb. 3, 1946. She was a native of Jackson. She was of the Baptist affiliation. She graduated from the Mastin School of Nursing. She was employed with various hospitals and severed two nursing tours in Saudi Arabia. Upon returning to the States she resumed her nursing career as an ER Nurse at Springhill Memorial where she was employed for 17 years before retiring. She moved to Elmcroft Assisted Living where she was a member of their community participating in many activities. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include one sister, Bettye (Carl) Brown, Foley; two brothers, Morris (Brenda) Hudson, Johnny (Pip) Hudson, all of Jackson; sister-in-lawCatherine Hudson, Mobile, Ronita Hudson, Jackson; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hudson; three brothers, Robin Hudson, Jim Hudson and Joe Hudson and a sister, Ouida Smith.
A graveside service was Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery in Jackson with Rev. Jerry Peebles officiating and Ann Pearson assisting. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Mrs. Hudson’s honor to a charity of your choice.
Honorary pallbearers were the 1969 Graduating Class of Mastin School of Nursing.
