Eva Mae Harris Elliott, 84, of Center Point died Oct. 5, 2013 at Saint Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham after complications from a heart attack. She was a native of Coffeeville and a former longtime resident of Birmingham.
Survivors include her children, Artie Childs and Barbara Childs; two sisters, Irene Reeves
and Mildred Bradley; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elliott; daughter, Carolyn Childs; mother, Lonie Anderson Harris and father, James “Joe” Lawson Harris.
Mrs. Elliott’s family wishes to thank her for her life of faithful love and devotion. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and her faith in God.
The service was Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home. Burial was at the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffeeville.
