He was born Dec. 4, 1959 in Mobile. His parents were Hubert and Mary Kiracofe of Jackson. He was the second of three children. He married Joy Carlisle on Sept. 8, 1990. They had four children. Kerry “Clyde” spent most of his life working construction. He was a very talented craftsman/woodworker. He also was a small business owner in his latter career. At the time of his death he was disabled. He was a member of the Springfield Methodist Protestant Church. He enjoyed woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered by his loving children, Lauren Alexia Ross, Jacob Kerry Kiracofe, Zachary Clyde Kiracofe and Joseph Byron Kiracofe, and his grandson, Christopher Clayton Ross and his former spouse and lifelong friend, Joy Carlisle Kiracofe. He will also be remembered by one brother, Danny Kiracofe, Jackson; one sister, Jackie (Mack) Napper, Jackson; numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mary Kiracofe.
The service was Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at Springfield Methodist Protestant Church in Sandflat with Jimmy Andrews and Rev. Benny Crawford officiating. Burial was in the Kelley Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Kevin Napper, Bruce Andrews, Jesse Jackson, Jason Harrison, John Martin, and Mark Smith.
