Connie Julius Hill, 82, of Thomasville died Nov. 20, 2013 at Thomasville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Dec. 23, 1930 in Half Acre, Ala. He was a member of the Wayne Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a retired automotive mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Vergie Hill, Pine Hill; two sons, Lister Hill, Magnolia, Morris Hill, Pine Hill; two daughters, Sharon Brame, Dixons Mills, Debbie Hicks, Pine Hill; two brothers, John V. Hill, Dothan, Sidney B. Hill, Millry; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
The service was Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Lister Hill, Morris Hill, Allen Hicks, and Sidney B. Hill officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery in Dixons Mills.
Active pallbearers were Amos Hill, Cody Hill, Jake Casteel, Roger “Dink” Green, Brian Hill and Dexter Hill.
Honorary pallbearers were Jason McGilberry, Billy Mahan, Richard Henry Hill and Dale Jones.
