The family of the late San Jeannette Thomas Martin sadly celebrates her home-going on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at Spencer Chapel A.M.E. Church in Fulton at 11 a.m.
San departed this life on Nov. 21, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary.
Better known as “Jeannette, San was a longtime resident of Clarke County. She was a graduate of the Clarke County High School Class of 1982. She went to Brunswick, Ga., to further her education in the Job Corp. Jeannette enjoyed taking care of others, and therefore she was a longtime certified nurse’s assistant.
San Jeannette Thomas Martin was born Nov. 9, 1963 to Robert and Della Allen Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Wayne Martin; daughter, Danielle Lasha Allen, both of Jackson; her devoted parents, Dickinson; three sisters, Tonya Thomas, Chickasaw, Yolanda (Colorado) Johnson, Dickinson, Robyn (Pastor Demorio Sr.) Sheffield, Mobile; six sisters-in-law and nine brothers-in-law; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson. Viewing will also be Saturday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 at Spencer Chapel A.M.E. Church in Fulton. Rev. David Tubbs, pastor, will be the officiating minister. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Fulton.
