Sarah Marie “Ressie” Mc- Corquodale, 83, of Jackson died Nov. 25, 2013 at her residence.
She was born July 9, 1930. She was a member of Mc- Cann’s United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Sunday School class and choir. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. She was a seamstress with Vanity Fair. She was in production with Teledyne Brown.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane Marie Mc- Corquodale (Frank Lenier) Harwell, Jackson; two grandchildren, Eleanor “Ellie” Marie Harwell and Colby Ridge Harwell; three brothers, Matthew Clyde Dolbear, David Devane Dolbear, Gene Turner Dolbear; four sisters, Lottie Mae Kent, Lillian Willoughby, Laura Lee Smith, Gaynor Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew Turner and Sarah Jane Mc- Donald Dolbear; husband, Thomas Ray “Smokie” Mc- Corquodale; six sisters, Velma Whisenhunt, Vivian Mathews, Viola Hartman, Bertha May, Anita Spillers and Lucille Parker.
The service was Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial was in the River Hill Cemetery.
