He was born Nov. 23, 1972 in Grove Hill to Andrew Lee Harmon and Mary Virginia Harmon. Being born into a Christian Family he united with the church at an early age. In 1994 he renewed his commitment to God to never look back. He was an associate minister at Independent Baptist Church, Sweet Water until God saw fit that he pastor Morning Star Baptist Church in Beatrice. His reign as a pastor was short lived but afforded him three of the happiest weeks of his earthly life. He was a member of South Marengo Shepard and Ministerial Alliance.
He was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Jessica Pugh Harmon on December 25, 1994. He was an employee of the transportation department, and a substitute teacher, with the Clarke County Board of Education. He was President of the Clarke County Education Support Professionals, a volunteer of the Winn Fire Department, and a student at Selma University.
Survivors left to celebrate his life and cherish his memories his beloved and devoted wife, Jessica Pugh Harmon, Jackson; devoted mother, Mary Virginia Harmon, Zimco; father Andrew Lee ( Jo Ann) Harmon, Monroeville, CA; two brothers, devoted Andrew (Elaine) Harmon, Mobile, Antonio Harmon, Monroeville, CA; three sisters, devoted Meranda (Ken) Chatmon, Semmes; Andrea Harmon, Antonette Harmon both of Monroeville, CA; a devoted father in law, Rev. Charles ( Judith) Steele, Jackson; three brother-in-laws, Eric (Sherrye) Steele, Laderris Jackson both of Jackson, Charles ( Janice) Steele, Winn, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many god-children, and friends.
The service was Dec. 11 at 12 noon at Pine Chapel Baptist Church #2 on the Toddtown Road. Burial was in the Pine Chapel Baptist Church #2 Cemetery.
