Doris M. Hill, 78, of Fulton died Dec. 18, 2013 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 28, 1934 in Sunny South. Survivors include three sons, James Robert (LaWanda) McCoy Jr., Stonewall, Miss., Johnny Wayne (Sherry Faye), McCoy, Fulton, Jack McCoy, Clara, Miss; four daughters, Elizabeth (Don) Harvell, Thomasville, Debra Ann Dailey, Fulton, Anell ( John) Purifoy- Houser, Grove Hill, Robbie McCoy, Naples, Fla.; sonin law, Danny Ray Jones, Newbern, N.C.; three brothers, Clarence (Sylvia) Mitchell, Peachtree City, Ga., Koss Mitchell, Zadock (Anell) Mitchell; one sister, Nancy White, Franklin, Ga.; 22 grandchildren; 36 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert McCoy Sr., a daughter, Jannie Bell Rearden and son-in-law, Billy Rearden; a daughter, Lillie Mae Jones, a brother, Horice Mitchell and sisterin law, Linda Hosmer Mitchell; two sisters, Lucy Clay and Betty Rizzo.
The service was Dec. 21 at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Wright officiating. Burial was in the Kelly Cemetery in Pine Hill.
Active pallbearers were Chris Purifoy, J.T. Purifoy, Ezra Purifoy, John Robert Dailey, James Zadock Dailey and Steven L. Harvell.
