Fred Lee Fendley, 86, of Thomasville died Dec. 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was born May 20, 1927 in Tallahatta Springs. He was a member of the Springfield Methodist Protestant Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a planner mill superintendent with American Can Company.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Rivers Fendley, Thomasville; three sons, Ronald (Sandra) Fendley, Gerry (Dianne) Fendley, Tim (Vickie) Fendley, all of Thomasville; two brothers, Jack Fendley, Pennington, Larry Fendley, Newport, Tenn.; one sister, Faye Kelley, Thomasville; five grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.
The service was Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Crawford officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were Donny Fendley, Van Phillips, Kevin Crawford, Russell Ott, Rusty Swanson and Jimmy Andrews.
Honorary pallbearers were James Fendley, Marcus Champion, Jack Bishop, James Alford, Ralph Kelley and Frank Jackson.
