Keith Werner Tarleton, 57, of Jackson died Dec. 24, 2013 in Mobile.
He was born Sept. 22, 1956. He was a talented musician, artist, writer and outdoorsman. His favorite pastimes were playing guitar, cooking, boating/fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family, friends and pets.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Beverly Tarleton, daughter, Leila Tarleton Holley; two grandchildren, John Watson Holley, Victoria Hampton Holley; his mother, Faye Gunter Gunn, his step-father, John M. Gunn Sr.; one devoted aunt, Johnnie G. Nicholson; brothers, Robbie (Bridget) Tarleton, Ronnie Tarleton, John M. (Vicky) Gunn; one sister, Beth Tarleton (Arvis) Slack; his beloved parents-in-law, Anna and Joseph Beverly; one brother-in-law, Robin Beverly; seven nephews, Bart Tarleton, Rob (Katie) Tarleton, Bill Tarleton, Caleb Alday, Jacob Slack, Gabriel Gunn, Kristopher “Bama” (Anna) Beverly; six nieces, Tara Tarleton ( Jason) Anderson, Brooke Alday Sellers, Mary Gunn, Annabelle Gunn, Christy Beverly, Chelsea Beverly (Matt) Moorer; numerous great-nephews, greatnieces, as well as many other family members.
He is preceded in death by his father, Everett “Buddy” Tarleton.
There was a reception to celebrate his life Dec. 29 from 2 until 4 p.m. at the golf house at the municipal pool.
