Betty C. (Campbell/Gibout) Moore, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.

She was a talented artist, a homemaker, and worked in various positions while living in eleven US cities during her lifetime.

Survivors include three children, Robert (Robin) M. Campbell Jr., Beaufort, S.C., James “Jimmy” William (Ruth) Campbell, Monroeville, Anne Campbell (Ray) Hudson, Andalusia. She was affectionately known as “BeBe” to seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild who survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca Brown and James Goodwyn Cunningham, two sisters, Frances and Margaret Rebecca and her husband, Robert “Bob” Marion Campbell, who preceded her in death in 1963 and by other husbands Francis Gilbout and Walter Allan Moore, III.

Burial will be in her hometown of Camden, S.C., at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2014 in the Quaker Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Monroeville, Saturday, Feb. 1 with visitation at 10 a.m. prior to the 11 a.m. service.
