Bobby Lee Cassity, 78, of Fulton died March 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born April 5, 1935 in Thomasville. He was a member of the Yellow Bluff Baptist Church and attended Grove Hill Methodist Protestant Church. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie M. Cassity, Fulton; sons, Bobby E. Cassity, Whatley, James E. Cassity, Fulton; daughters, Sheila Haskew, Niceville, Fla., Annette Hicks, Commerce, Ga., Judy Stephens, Cindy Stephens, both of Grove Hill; brothers, Oscar Cassity, Floyd Cassity, both of Citronelle, Earnest Cassity, Mobile, Roland Cassity, Texas; sisters, Unice Williams, Crestview, Fla., Louis Windham, Jeannette Byrd, both of Grove Hill, Georgia Ann Hardy, Mississippi, Dorthy Maxwell, Milton, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren.
The service was March 7 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Harold Jackson and Benny Crawford officiating. Burial was in the Kelly Cemetery in Pine Hill.
Active pallbearers were Mike Norris, Milton Sheffield, Morris Allday, Joseph Fuller, Doug Fuller, Kyle Patton, Gary Dempsey, and Gray Snodgrass.
Honorary pallbearers were his grandsons and greatgrandsons.
