Ruth O. Moseley, 94, passed away March 13, 2014 at Jackson Healthcare Facility. 

She was born March 23, 1919. She was a resident of Leroy. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Moseley was a member of First Baptist Church of Leroy where she was a member of the WMU, VIP and the Women’s Sr. Adult Sunday School Class.

Survivors include sons, Nelson Bedsole Moseley (Rosa), Wayne Boyd Moseley (Wanda), all of Leroy, Michael Kelly Moseley (Sharon), Magnolia Springs, daughter, Rita M. McCuiston, Gulf Shores; grandchildren, Chrissy Dunn (Kevin), Marina Presley (Marshall), Sarah Rockwell (Bragg), Jason McCuiston (Tonya), Boyd Moseley (Megan), Chip Moseley (Elena), Mally McCuiston, Scott Moseley (Bridget); 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Blount Moseley I, and a brother, Norman Powell.

The service was March 17 at First Baptist Church of Leroy at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the New Leroy Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Leroy Building Fund.

Active pallbearers were Jason McCuiston, Boyd Moseley, Nelson Blount Moseley II, Scott Moseley, Kevin Dunn, Bragg Rockwell, Marshall Presley and Jim Wheat.

Honorary pallbearers were Ray Beech, Clifton Bell, Mike Blount, Mark Blount, Larry Wilson, Gene Blount, Buddy Woodyard, Carl Etheridge, Joe Pace Palmer, Harold Harwell, C. F. Hawkins and Bo Beech.
