Samuel Jacob Hawk, 28, of Atlanta, Ga. died June 18, 2016 in Gulf Shores.

He was born July 28, 1987 in Mobile. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. He was an accountant with the Arby’s Corporation.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Horshok, Gulf Shores; father, Richard Horshok, Jackson; one sister, Catie Criswell, Spanish Fort; one brother, Nathan Hawk, Auburn; his maternal grandmother, Johnnie Louise Gaddy, Thomasville; paternal grandmother, Una Navada Horshok, Butler; and the love of his life, Gerri Marie Wright, Spanish Fort.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Jackson Gaddy; paternal grandfather, Wasil Basil Horshok, and his brother-in-law, Robert Lance Criswell.

The service was June 25 at 2 p.m. at Thomasville Baptist Church with Rev. Chette Williams officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Joseph Deshler, Chase Dozier, Preston Brooks, Will Dannelly, Danny Norris, Todd Walker, Dedrick Ford and Matthew Moore.

Honorary pallbearers were John Dasis, Danny Dasis, Justin Webb, Walker “T.R. “ Rolen, Dalton Younge, Brandon Shierling, Brandon Gates, Matt Athey and Dr. Jerffrey Merida.
