Stephen Lamark “Steve” Brown, 43, a native of McIntosh and resident of Mobile, departed this life July 5, 2016.

Born Sept. 10, 1972 to Fannie Brown Adams and the late Jefferson Sullivan. Steve was a 1990 graduate of McIntosh High School and a member of the New Free Holiness Church of God in Chatom. He was a successful entrepreneur with a 24/7 on and off the road tire repair business. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was known as “The Grill Master,” he loved grilling out.

Steve leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Natascha Parker of Mobile; four children, DeAntwun Parker, Ebony Parker and Shayna Parker, all of Mobile, DeAndre Hawkins, Birmingham; two grandchildren; his parents, Leroy Sr., Fannie Brown Adams, McIntosh; five brothers, Demethis (Paula) Adams, Mobile, Leroy Adams Jr., Norcross, Ga., Jovan Adams, McIntosh, Timothy Lang, Nevada, Jeffery K. Sullivan, Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Nyoka Adams, Lilburn, Ga., Katina (Roger) York, Mt. Vernon; grandmothers, Overseer Myrtle Brown, Laurine S. Law, both of McIntosh; seven uncles and 16 aunts; mother-in-law, Rose Marie (Harry) Artinott; father-in-law, Larry Parker; three sisters in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The service was July 11 at McIntosh Church Of God Pentecostal in McIntosh, with Bishop Bobby R. Powe, pastor, and Bishop John Sullivan, officiating minister. Interment followed in the Vaughn Cemetery in McIntosh.
