Clarence Oneal Jones, 83, of Fulton, answered the master’s call Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Providence Hospital.

He was born to the parentage of Robert Cammie Stabler Jones on July 4, 1933.

As a younger adult, he worked at Scotch Lumber in Fulton, and Gulf Lumber in Mobile. After relocating to Fulton he worked at One Stop Building in Thomasville and as a Security Guard at Northside Check Exchange. He was a member of the Thomasville Church of God In Christ, where he was a faithful member until his health failed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife; Mamie Lee; three daughters, Missionary Josephine (Deacon Clifford) Nobles, Alice (Michael) Kidd, Shelia (Tyrone) Hillery; two sons, Bennie (Kathryn) Jones and Darren Jones; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bennie Lee Jones; one sister, Betty (J.D.) Williams; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by four children, one brother, Robert Jones and four sisters, Mable, Minnie Lee, Azzie Lee and Amanda.

The service July 30 at 12 noon at Thomasville Church Of God In Christ, 1200 Church Drive, Thomasville with Supt. Jimmy R. Allen, pastor and officiating minister. Interment was in the Liberty Cemetery in Fulton.
