Moore

Lola Bell Lang Moore, 67, of Mobile passed away Sept. 22, 2016.

She was born June 18, 1949. She was a native of McIntosh. She was born to the parentage of the late Mitchell Lang Jr., and the late Madie L. Presley Lang. She was a member of the Church of God Pentecostal in McIntosh. Affectionately known as “Momita,” Ms. Moore was well-traveled, bilingual and referred to herself “Phat, Fine and Foxy.” During her stay in Zaragoza Spain, she won the crown “Ms. Zab” in the Zaragoza, Spain Beauty Pageant. Her culinary education was furthered from dietary nutrition to Second Chef for a major restaurant chain in Biloxi, Miss. Her passion was for the Lord, family and friends. Known for her sense of humor, words of wisdom and savvy sense of fashion, her legacy was her heart for giving to those in need.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Tina (Eric) Reed, Spanish Fort; two sons, Travis (Sheila) Mitchell, Moss Point, Miss., SSgt. Timothy Moore, Mobile; one brother, Willie R. Lang, Mobile; devoted grandchildren, William (Juwanna) Reed II, Keland Oakley, Travis Montgomery, Trayon Montgomery, Tarae Moore, Michael Williams, Justin Williams, Demarion Williams, Joi Davis; devoted nieces and nephew, dedicated in-laws, dedicated cousins; special friends, Deloris Hill, Joyce York, Dennis (Tammy) Amos and a host of devoted great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Pastor Spencer L. Lang and a sister, Eula M. Reed.

Viewing will be Saturday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service at the Church of God of Deliverance of the Apostle Faith, 615 Patton Road in McIntosh with Bishop Willie Roberts, pastor and Rev. Fredrick Lang as eulogist. Following burial in the Vaughn Cemetery in McIntosh the family will receive friends at the McIntosh Community Center.
