Edward Coleman Noble, 66, of Jackson passed away Jan. 4, 2017 at his residence.

He was born May 5, 1950 in Grove Hill to Chester C. Noble and Rebekah McClure Noble. A graduate of Jackson High School, he also attended the University of Alabama and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He retired from Georgia Pacific in Monroeville.

Survivors include his mother; wife, Sharon Howell Noble; children, Chet (Jeana) Noble, Shelly Branch; grandchildren, Cydnee Roberts, Mason Young, Hunter Pitre Noble, Cooper Branch, Salem Noble, Alex Noble and siblings, Janet (Speck) McCants, Sam (Frances) Noble, Tom (Suzanne) Noble, Marsha Walker and Frank (Molly) Noble.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.O. McClure and Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Noble.

 The service was Jan. 6 at 12 p.m. at Lathan Funeral home in Jackson with Rev. Scott Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers were Kenny Roeman, Robert Bumpers, Will Chapman, James Hull, Robert Byrd, Burke Lancaster, Johnny House and Ernie Goldman.
