Susie Maxine Bozeman Rush Lambard, 66, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2017. She was born Nov. 26, 1950.

She was always singing with her sisters (low alto), playing softball and cooking. Maxine lived a full and exemplary life, inspiring those around her with her dedication to family, music, singing and Auburn Football. Maxine was a 1969 LHS Graduate. She received her nursing degree in Demopolis. She was married 39 years to Roger Rush before his death. Maxine married Richard Lambard in 2011 and they enjoyed traveling until her illness. She spent many years as a nurse and had a compassion for taking card of others, on and off the job. Her memory will be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

The service was Feb. 8 at 12 p.m. at the Jackson Church of Christ. Interment was at Jones Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery (across from Centerpoint Baptist) with Rev. Glen Sullivan officiating.

Beloved wife of Richard Lambard Jr. Loving Mother of Amy Anderson  and Ashley Pugh of Mobile, Step-Mother to Barbara Winton and Charles Lambard, Mother-in-Law to Robert Anderson and Chuck Pugh. Cherished Grandmother to Christian Anderson, Charlie Pugh, Noah Anderson, Jonah Anderson and Bradley Pugh. Step-Grandchildren/Great-Grandchildren include Wes and Laurie Hust, Emma, Bella, and Charlie Hust and Ross Winton. Sisters to Diane (Odell) Morris, Luverne (Glenn) Sullivan, Marilyn (Jerry) Whitehead.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Raymond and Ethel Sullivan Bozeman. Brothers, Ken Bozeman, Vernon Bozeman, Bernie Bozeman, Bill Bozeman. Sisters, Estelle Bozeman Reynolds.

Active pallbearers were Joey Bozeman, Anthony Bozeman, Kenny Bozeman, Scott Sullivan, Perry Bozeman and Rickey Bozeman.

Honorary pallbearers were Terry Morris, Chris Morris, Kyle Morris, Alton Bozeman, Jay Bozeman, Jamey Sullivan and Jeremy Sullivan.

St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
