Annie Pearl Counselman, 98, of Coffeeville passed away May 11, 2017 at a family residence in Jackson.

She was born Sept. 11, 1918 to John and Addie Mauldin. Her many hobbies included cooking, sewing, crocheting and tending her flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was most happy when the house was full with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Coffeeville.

Survivors include her children, Johnny (Pat) Counselman, Benny (Delores) Counselman, Ray ( Joyce) Counselman, Linda (David) McLean, Kenny (Sandra) Counselman, Jerry (Sally) Counselman, Rickey (Candy) Counselman, Thomas (Gina) Counselman; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren as well as many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice Counselman and children, Carolyn ( John) Rockwell and Dan (Marion) Counselman and a sister, Erlee Webb.

The service was May 15 at 11 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Revs. Warren Shewmake and David Webb officiating.

Active pallbearers were grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Bethel Baptist Church.
