Joseph Thomas Walker, 56, of Grove Hill died Oct. 30, 2017 at Mobile Infirmary.

He was born July 21, 1961 in Jackson to S.P. and Betty Pearl Walker. He was a veteran of the United States National Guard. He was a train conductor with GWR Railroad in Monroeville.

Survivors include his sons, Cordell Walker, Cobi Walker, both of Grove Hill, Christopher Walker, Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter, Priscilla Walker, Grove Hill; sister, Patsy Mott (Charlie) Fulghum, Columbus, Miss.; brother, Alton Walker, Bay Minette; sister, Joy (Billy) Glenn, Saraland.

The service was Thursday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chris Kynard officiating. Burial was in the Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Charlie Monk, Glen Harvell, Billy Glenn, Steven Agee, Oneal Baugh and Bruce Monk.
