Stanley Dunegan, 72, of Coffeeville passed away May 22, 2018 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile.

He was born Sept. 11, 1945 to S.G. and Mable Bumpers Dunegan. A welder by trade, he was also a skilled craftsman in many other areas such as electrical, plumbing and woodwork. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially cutting grass and was a fan of Alabama football and Nascar. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Dot Dunegan; daughters, Sherry Sheffield, Robyn Dunegan, Nikki Autry; sisters, Jan Hill, Katrina Presnall; grandchildren, Grace Smith, Josie Autry, Elen Autry, Avaree Harper and a devoted friend, Jamey (Lisa) Dunagan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Kim William Sheffield.

Visitation will be Friday, May 25 at 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at First Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Revs. Brent Fuller and Jesse Griffith officiating. Burial will be at the Coffeeville Town Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jamey Dunagan, Bill Taylor, Jimmy Knight, Donnie Ray Singleton, Bonnie Craft, Charles Craft, Clay Parnell and Kris Hudson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Dunagan, Sonny Creighton, Ray Brunson, Evan Wilson, Eddie Wilson and the members of his Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville.
