Helen Kamaka “Shirley” Bradford, 88, a homemaker of Thomasville, died July 26, 2023 at her home. She was born May 15, 1935 in Kilauea, Hawaii to Joseph and Mary Kamaka. She was a member of The Pine Hill Chapel of the Apostolic Faith.
She is survived by her son, William Terry Bradford (Angela); daughter, Cynthia Bradford Hicks (Keith); three grandchildren, Kelsey Gibson (Zack), Layne Hicks (Wade Westbrook), and Braydon Bradford; and many other honorary grandchildren who called her “Maw Maw”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Bradford; and son, Jerry Bradford.
Funeral services were held at Pine Hill Chapel of the Apostolic Faith on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mike Brening officiating. Burial followed at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Eddie Sims, Wade Westbrook, Zack Gibson, Brad Dozier, Braydon Bradford, and Micah Bragg.
Honorary pallbearers were Kirk Dozier, Cordale Bragg, Mike Huckabee, Mark Lyles, Jody Crosby, Ken Vick, and Ralph Sheffield.
