St. Peter banquet-St. Peter Baptist Church of Allen will hold a banquet Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Grove Hill Senior Center located on Clark Street. Truvine Baptist Church-located at 5130 Brooksville Road in Dickinson will have its Four Gospel-White program Sunday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. The speakers will be different ministers and different chapters of the Bible that include Rev. James Howard Jr.-Matthew; Rev. John Kidd-Mark; Rev. Derric Parnell-Luke; Rev. Charles L. Marshall-John. Sis. Joyce Arnold is the secretary. Rev. Roderick Scott is the pastor.

Tompkins Baptist showing movie-Tompkins Baptist Church of Grove Hill will show the movie “Fireproof” Sunday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. Bro. Don Newton is the pastor.

Rockbar pastor appreciation-Rockbar Baptist Church located on Hwy. 69 North in Coffeeville will have its pastor and first lady’s 11th Year Appreciation of service Sunday, Feb. 8 at 11:45 a.m. The speaker for the morning service will be Minister Roy Henry and family of Millry. The speaker for the evening service at 3 p.m. will be Minister Darrin Rogers of the Greenhill Baptist Church of Greensboro, Miss. Rev. Amos Hill is the pastor.

Special fundraising supper and singing-New Home Church will have a special fundraising supper and singing Friday, Feb. 13. A barbecue chicken and pork supper will begin at 5 p.m. and the singing will begin at 7 p.m. Plates are $6 and carry-outs will be available. Featured singers will be “Naomi & The Segos” and “New Direction.” The event is being sponsored by E.J. and Peggy Tenny. New Home is located between Repton and Monroeville, north of U.S. Highway 84 East, one mile east of the skating rink.

Third annual Ladies Day—Christian Fellowship Baptist Church located at 7641 Tallahatta Springs Road in Thomasville will hold its third annual Ladies Day program Saturday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. The program will be a morning of celebration and worship, followed by a fellowship lunch. Mt. Zion #2 Baptist banquet-Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church will hold its 6th Annual Marriage and Singles Banquet Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. The theme will be Marriage: Together as one. Genesis 2:24. Singles: Living single, save and satisfied. I Corinthians 7:32. Tickets will be $15 per couple and $10 for singles.

Fulton Baptist showing movie-Fulton Baptist Church located at 949 Highway 178 in Fulton will feature the movie “Fireproof” Sunday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. No admission will be charged.

Lily Baptist Deacons Day-Lily Baptist Church of Fulton will have a Deacons Day Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elder S.L. Calhoun and church of Sunflower AOH of Thomasville. Rev. Wiley McMillan is the pastor.

Spencer Chapel AME Church-The Annual Black History/Founders Day program of the Spencer Chapel AME Church in Fulton will be held Sunday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Rev. David Tubbs, pastor.

Wilson Chapel AME Church-The Annual Black History Program of the Clarke County NAACP will be held Sunday, Feb. 22 at Wilson Chapel AME Church in Grove Hill at 4 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. De Mel Coleman of Birmingham. Singing groups will include the Jackson Male Chorus and others.

Cedar Point Baptist-Cedar Point Baptist Church of Coffeeville in the West Bend community will observe Black History month with different speakers every Sunday. Rev. James Chaney is the pastor.
