Grove Hill to host Christmas parade Thurs.




The Grove Hill Christmas Parade will be Thursday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. The theme will be “Christmas through the Ages.” Think Nativity Scene, the ’50s, ’60s or even futuristic.

The parade will line up on Church Street at 2:30 p.m. in front of Clarke County High School and will begin at Cobb and Jackson Street across from the Clarke County Historical Museum and will travel south on Jackson Street and end at Dollar General and 4th Street.

Santa will be at the Gilmore Senior Center afterwards with lots of activities for kids. See the ad on Page 10A for more information. Other county parades

The annual Jackson Christmas Parade will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday Dec. 5. The theme is “Old Fashioned Christmas.”

The Coffeeville Christmas Parade will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. Also, the Coffeeville Tree Lighting is Sunday at 6 p.m.
