Edward Leonard Hill, 53, a native and resident of Walker Springs, made his earthly transition on Sept. 7, 2020 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 13, 1966 to Marie Hill. Edward was a member of Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. He was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his father, Rawleigh Pritchett Jr.; a daughter, Jessica Curry of Monroeville; son, Charles Edward of Singleton, Texas; four grandchildren; 10 brothers, Rawleigh (Felicia) Pritchett III, Marlon (Wanda) Pritchett and Kerry (Veria) Pritchett, all of Walker Springs, Jonta (Andrea) Pritchett of Birmingham, Steve (Candra) Jackson of Grove Hill, David (Kathy) Bryant of Barlow Bend, Greg (Corrine) Bryant of Gainestown, Joshua Adams, Joseph Adams and Odell Adams Jr., all of McIntosh; six sisters, Rosie (Deric) Wright of Choctaw Bluff, Sabrina Pritchett of Whatley, Kira Pressley and Olivia Bell, both of McIntosh, Edith (Jamie) Stokes of Gainestown and Rhonda (Christopher) Smith of Jackson; with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Hill Pritchett; brothers, Robert Earl Pritchett and Ronald O. Bryant; his nephew, Delvin Pugh; grandparents, Nancy Lee Hill, Rawleigh Pritchett Sr. and Ruthie Mae Pritchett.

A graveside service was Sept. 12 at 8 a.m. at  the Hotel Hill Cemetery in Walker Springs with Rev. Mulvoy Taylor, as the eulogist.

Final life celebration has been entrusted to Jackson Memorial Funeral Home.
