Lady Bulldogs beat Leroy, move to 4-0

The Clarke County High Lady Bulldogs ran their record to 4-0 as they beat the Lady Bears of Leroy 60- 29 on the road Saturday night.

“We have played better and better each game,” Head Coach Rhonda Wright said. “We have played hard, even our younger players have been coming off the bench and helping with scoring and defense.”

Jordan Hollins had 15 points and nine rebounds. Nicole Moore added eight points and 12 rebounds. N’Sya Morrissette had nine points, coming off the bench. Tamara Caves had eight points and six rebounds. LaJessica Rivers added seven points, five rebounds and three assists.

Last Friday the Lady Bulldogs dismantled McIntosh 64-16 in Grove Hill.

Hollins had 13 points, four steals and three assists. Moore had 12 points and six rebounds. Caves added six points. Rivers had eight steals and six assists.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19 CCHS beat John Essex 58- 22 at home.

Shanda Pugh had 12 points, five steals and two assists, Caves had 10 points and six rebounds. Rivers added eight points.

CCHS returns to action Dec. 6 when they host Wilcox-Central.
