Monroeville man guilty of attempted jury tampering

United States Attorney Kenyen R. Brown of the Southern District of Alabama announced that Jonathan Lawrence Oneal, 42, of Monroeville, was sentenced to three years of probation for attempted jury tampering. Oneal was sentenced by United States District Callie V.S. Granade and in addition to the prison term, sentenced Oneal to pay a fine of $3,000. Oneal pled guilty to […]

Paving grant for Fulton

The Fulton Town Council formally accepted Nov. 9 a $350,000 grant to pave Reservoir Road. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is being provided through the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). Employees of the Clarke County Road and Bridge Department will do the paving work.
